OLD TIME TOYS is pleased to announce a new line of G gauge rolling stock (1:29 scale) made from Laser cut wood, a combination of laser cut wood and steel, and all laser cut steel.
The currently available rolling stock consists of top copula cabooses, 40 foot box cars (16" long) and gondolas.
Click here for images.The above are sold fully assembled , without trucks or in kit form. The kits can be easily assembled in less than 15 minutes. The laser cut component parts interlock and require only a drop of glue here and there to create a structurally strong railroad car which will not melt in the hot sun.
OLD TIME TOYS can provide trucks and couplers of the buyers' choice, or the buyer can obtain their own trucks and couplers.
The buyer can specify their own logo to be laser cut into the sides of the rolling stock, or apply their own identification logos and color schemes to the rolling stock. OLD TIME TOYS currently uses its proprietary DIVIDE & CONQUER logo on its rolling stock, consisting of a picture of a Roman Gladiator, with sword in hand, about to conquer the world.
OLD TIME TOYS also has Code 332 aluminum rail available for sale along with real wood ties. (The buyer can specify the kind of wood they would like the ties cut from!) The ties can be bought in bulk or they can be purchased pre-spaced on a plastic strip so that the buyer need only slip the rail into the detents in the ties and tack the rail to the ties. The Code 332 rail comes in 20 foot lengths so the buyer can create long sections of flex track.

OLD TIME TOYS is now manufacturing a 1/3 scale operating 18 wheeler. The unit, about 20 feet long overall, and can be either gas or battery powered. It will be on the market in early 2011, initially with a cab over engine tractor. A Kenworth-like long nose tractor will be available later in 2011.
The tractor is designed to be driven by an adult sitting in the open cab of the tractor. The tractor can pull any design of semi. The first semi available will be a gondola type with seats for kids. Pulled by a batter powered tractor, it is designed to be used in malls, and other venues, to haul kids here and there.
The unit is also ideal as a promotional vehicle for trucking companies and other companies who want to get their name before the public. When operating as a kid hauler in the mall, it can be sponsored by the mall itself or one or more of the mall tenants.

November 27, 2010 First Playhouse Caboose Delivered!
OLD TIME TOYS has delivered its first 6' x 12' playhouse caboose, complete with 110 volt ac power, red and green running lights, metal grab irons, etc.
Now we are producing a 8' x 14' box car storage unit.
Next comes a drover caboose, 8' x 27' from which CABOOSE COFFEE, CABOOSE
JUICE, and other goodies will be sold via a drive through window or on
site eating in the 8' x 14' lounge area.
OLD TIME TOYS is moving
into larger quarters in Colorado Springs at El Paso and Fourth Streets,
about a 1/2 mile from our present facility. We hope to be in our new
facility by December 14, 2010.

OLD TIME TOYS is pleased to announce that they are going to produce a series of fifty, 40 foot box cars in G gauge (1:29) scale, one for each State in the Union. The box car will be made of laser wood and the sides of the box car will have the outline of the subject State and images of the prominent points of interest in the state located on the map. OLD TIME TOYS is going to begin with the State of California. It is contemplated that the California Box car will be ready for sale by November 1, 2009. Thereafter, one box car will come on the market at least once a month.
Each box car will be sold with whatever trucks and couplers the buyer specifies or without trucks and couplers. Each box car will be sold fully assembled or in kit form with instructions for easy assembly of each kit.
Prices will depend on whether the box cars are bought with or without trucks and couplers and wheter they are bough assembled or in kit form.
Pictures of each box car will be posted on this website as the design is completed. Each edition of a particular State box car will be limited to twenty (20) box cars.
